Master Writing Basics

1: Write---just like a good swimmer swims a lot, a good writer writes a lot.===I'm still working on this but I'm writing more and more.


2: Write daily ---much like skipping workouts slows an athlete's progress, the same holds true for writing===It is getting easier for me to remember and the desire to write is getting stronger.


3. Write plainly---The easiest way to say something is usually the best ===To be honest, I've never had much of an issue here.


4: Keep sentences short---I've been told to try and keep them under twenty-five words ===Here is another easy one for me.


5: Keep paragraphs short ---I've also been told reader's like white space===So far I don't see an issue but my book isn't completed and I haven't sent it to an editor yet.
