The physical therapy seems to be working. The gym has seen some small improvement since I have been able to add some weight. The weight my legs are press has gone from thirty pounds to forty-five pounds and I was able to up the weights on my lats from 12.5 pounds to 17.5 pounds. This week I've been able to do two sets of twelve repetitions on my legs and my lats. Well, that is how my body is doing physically. Since this is my writing journal, let's move on to the progress I've made in that arena.

The last couple of weeks have seen some decent progress on the novel. Chapter fifteen is finished mostly, I have to figure out how to tie fifteen into chapter sixteen and I will be done with the first act of the novel. A big woohoo and congratulations to me for finishing fifteen chapters and the first act.

Now that I have completed the first act ending with a climax, so readers won't be able to stop reading, chapter sixteen has presented itself in my brain so that chapter is well under way. Chapter seventeen has also made an appearance in my mind, and I hope I don't lose the thought before I am able to input the idea into my phone or computer.

With my disease, inputting words is a slow process. I don't remind you of my disease for sympathy. I feel I should keep you informed of the challenge I face on a daily basis and if you want to know more about the disease challenging my ability to write, I urge you to read the 'About Me' section. to press ninety pounds with my legs today. My hope is that I'm not overdoing it which would send the body back several weeks.

My novel is progressing in an outstanding fashion. I had my doubts around the chapter eight time frame but I do like how it has progressed. I do know that I'll have to adjust parts of the story so everything matches but that will be caught on the second draft.

Act one finished with a climax of its own. I'm so excited with Act two and I'm curious to find out how the characters will choose how the characters will react to the obstacles in they will need to overcome to bring the novel to a final epic conclusion.
