The blurb to this book sounded interesting so I decided to give the novel a read. Once I got into the novel however, I found the plot needed more work as I felt the premise was a little far fetched.

This book took me longer than expected to read due to the fact I had to keep taking breaks. One reason for needing breaks was because this author insisted on using crude throughout the novel. One of my luxuries is reading and since I'm forced to be in an environment where that language is commonplace, then I expect the books I read to be on the cleaner side.

The story did start at the beginning and progressed in a logical manner until the end but there were no twists. With no twists, it made for a dull read hence the breaks I mentioned earlier. The plot was also too complex. I found myself needing to reread some to remind myself of some of the elements.

The climax was also lacking. It was built up throughout the novel and I was expecting something more than what was given.

I wanted to like this novel but alas it was a disappointment. The main plot has been done before and the inciting incident hacked my gizzard

I will say first, this book seemed to be written at a middle school reading level and was riddled with cliches.
