Phone on fritz

Sorry I haven't posted anything this month. With my phone going bad in December, it's been hard to get online to post anything.

I'll first give an update on myself. On January twelfth, it was determined that I was strong enough to go home. Upon arrival, one of my daughter's helped to make the bed and and perform a couple other small tasks to help me get situated. Throughout the month, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nurses came by to continue therapy and monitor my health. I noticed I was gaining strength which meant there was progress, albeit slow.

Due to the fact that I had been laid up for a couple months, I didn’t have to purchase food or gas so I used those monies to buy a much needed couch. Now, when I have visitors, which are few and far between, they will have a place to sit.

I continued working on my novel, which has been slow, but headway was made. I have many ideas, I just can't seem to put them down fast enough. I know, as a writer, that is a good problem to have, I just worry about forgetting those scenes before inputting them.

How do I come up with ideas you may ask? Sometimes I get ideas as I'm going to bed so I record my thoughts and make a scene the next day. I don't know what it is, but many of my ideas come at that point. Movies get my creative juices flowing as well. My genres of choice are action, adventure, and fantasy. On occasion, I'll watch romance movies but I have to be in the mood. They have never sparked my creativity however.
