Fingers won't cooperate

My last post was a couple days ago. Yesterday, due to health issues, I inputted about two hundred words to chapter ten of my novel. Today however, I worked on chapter nine because I need to finish that chapter and tie it in to chapter ten.

It's a good thing that I stopped chapter nine when I did because I am so happy with the scene that came from my mind. That proves that if a person is stuck on their story, you can move on to another idea and your mind will go back to that point and show you what needs to transpire in the scene.

I did find out something about the workings of my mind. I mentioned that my health precluded me from writing yesterday. I will say that I watched various cooking shows and part of a soccer game yesterday.

Today however, I had shows like 'Major Crimes,' 'The Closer' and 'Rizzoli and Isles' playing on the television and my brain wouldn't stop playing. I had no choice but to annotate what my brain was seeing. If my fingers would cooperate then my novel would be farther along.
