The shop where my van was being repaired called me yesterday. They told me that I could pick up my van that day and pay them back next week, which I thought was outstanding. When I got everything together and was outside, the downpour changed my mind about the van. Since I was riding a wheelchair, the decision was made to wait until tomorrow and hope the storm passes through the night.
The storm did indeed pass and the sun was shining bright this morning. After going to the gym and doing some physical therapy, I decided to make my way to the shop where my van was awaiting my arrival. Once it was back in my possession, the grocery store was the first stop on my list. Besides the much-needed groceries, chicken fingers sounded good so they were added to my list. Chicken fingers are not groceries in the technical sense of the word, but I was needing something in my belly and after consuming those, my energy levels picked up.
I had taken the van into the shop because it had failed to start, so after saying a little prayer, I turned the key, and just like magic the van started. I pushed the button to bring the ramp up, I had to help it since the vehicle is 15 years old and parts are getting worn out. Once home, I got the bug to start writing some more which was a good thing, but rather than work on my novel I decided to annotate what's on this page to let you know how my day went.
My body had been under the weather for the last few weeks, however it does feel like this ailing body might be kicking this bug. If indeed, my body continues its upswing, I may be able to write more.
This post is 344 words so that is how many words I have put into writing today. Of course most of the post was annotated since my fingers will no longer let me type 40 wpm.
