For the past five days, I've been trying to figure out what needs to be said in chapter forty. This will be the beginning of the climax for the novel. I know how I want the story to proceed, I just can't figure out the wording so it'll be realistic.

The problem I'm having is that I need to get the characters at the climactic setting together in a realistic fashion. I may have to cut chapters that I've already written but I'll determine that with the second draft.

My brain is exhausted right now so I must admit that I'm giving it a rest. I'm watching the UFL right now (San Antonio vs St. Louis).
